I've been researching parts for a high-end gaming PC that I plan to build sometime in November or December. The build is mostly complete, except for the PSU which I can find later on. Any ideas on what I could improve? In particular, I'm a little uncertain about the graphics card. Budget is $1500, current price is a little over $1400 (at least it will be once I add a PSU and some custom fans for the case). The goal of the computer is to run games like Skyrim or Battlefield at or near max settings while still maintaining average to high framerates.
Also, if anyone could give me a ballpark estimate for power consumption on this build, that would be great. PC Part Picker pegged it at around 360W, but I feel like that's a bit low. Thank you for the input!
