Suggestions for a new Laptop

Hi!
Im planning to buy a new laptop, since I need one for the University (i3 is outdated)

Im looking for a laptop which isnt too big (13.3"- 14") so its easy to take with me.
Also it should at least have i5, preferably i7. and, if possible, have some GB's along with it (250+)

If anyone has a suggestion, please share!

ps, price range is 0,0€ to aproximately €1000 (a bit more is okay if its worth it)

thankyou for your help! I forgot to tell however, that im looking for a windows supporting device:/.
But the problem is solved, i've bought a lenovo U430 currently waiting for it to arrive.. which takes time.. too much time -_-

The one I ordered, the lenovo ideapad U430, comes with Intel Core i7, 14" Full HD, 500 GB HDD + 16 GB SSD, 8 RAM and Windows 8.
All seems like a nice laptop. only problem; terrible service at lenovo. It should have been delivered aproximately a week ago..
they havent even shipped it yet -_-
