Suggestions for buying speakers!

Guys, I want to buy new speakers So I was looking for some help, My budget is around 100$ So give me your suggestions. Sound should be as good as possible, PS I'm expecting to connect these speakers to my laptop. Thanks!

Any speaker which sound good will have to be connected to the mains if using on a laptop although there are some bad sounding ones where you do not need to be near a plug. Anyway check out the Edifier M3300SF, I heard they sound clear but the bass is not very strong but still acceptable. The best would be the HK Soundsticks III.
