I have a budget of $500 to pick up a gaming monitor. I play RPG,FPS, and open world games primarily. I prefer the minimum resolution being at least 2560 x 1440 and don't care too much about 4k(seems like a gimmick to me at the current price range). Any suggestions anyone? It can be one expensive monitor or two monitors that totals up to around $500. As long as it's frameless that is. Any suggestions guys?

@getochkn

This for example is considered a frameless monitor. It still has a frame(very minimal frame) obviously to hold it together but in the PC world, it's known as a frameless monitor.

@Adam
Thanks, seems like a nice monitor but the frame is too thick unfortunately. In the future I'd like to have the option of connecting 3 monitors together if I decide to. I like having options(while making them look good).

Have you guys tried out a 1~2 vs 5ms monitor before? I only have a 2ms one currently and mostly curious if 5ms is going to feel slightly laggy in comparison. I'd compare it myself but I only have my current monitor.

I don't think you'll notice a difference from 1 to 5 ms response time, I wouldn't want to go over that though personally. The one I linked above the PB278Q, has a 5ms response time and i gamed on it for years, didn't notice any issues with it.

Thanks! Yeah I'd consider that an option if the frame was thinner. I found another one so I'll be adding this one to the debate.

Upside being it's mount ready and has a height adjustable stand but the screen size unfortunately is smaller.
