So, I told my younger brother that if he bought the parts I'd put the system together for him, but I'm having a heck of a time figuring out something that falls within his budget ($2000 Canadian Dollars or less).
In terms of general details:
Country: Canada
Stores: Memory Express or Amazon.ca please. (Memex best)
Budget: $2000 max
OS: Maybe? Assume no for now. It depends on if I can move over the copy he has, and if not I'll figure something out.
Peripherals: Do not include
Things presently owned:
1TB SSD (From old sys; fairly new)
Purpose: So he plays a lot of triple AAA games. Presently, I believe the most taxing he's playing are the newest COD and GTA V, but he'll probably keep up with this as time goes on. He told me he doesn't care about playing on much higher than 1080p, but might be seeking to add a second monitor (separate from this project).
As with most gaming systems, he'd be aiming for fairly high->max specs and solid framerates. I don't think he'd care about ray-tracing, but he's basically just looking for a powerful card that'll support his goals for some time into the future.
Restrictions:
The case he'd be aiming for is an ATX. I unfortunately lost the paper where he gave me the details, but I'm pretty sure it's this one, or very similar. It's one of TT's RGB style cases, anyhow:

Wintel/Nvidia please, unless there's a VERY compelling case to do otherwise.
I appreciate the help! If it it seems like it's just a stock problem, let me know - he's prepared to wait and I'd really like to try and keep the Amazon purchases to a minimum if possible.
