Question Suggestions for Lenovo Legion Y520-T

I currently have a Lenovo Legion Y520t and I keep getting the CPU fan failure error. However upon trying to obtain a replacement, it will be almost a month until it is back in stock.
Lenovo 01MN069 LGA115X CPU Cooler, I guess my question is can anyone suggest something different that will work as good or better without breaking the bank?

You'll need to measure the fan. Then you should be able to use an aftermarket replacement fan. You could also replace the heatsink and improve cooling.

Sometimes manufacturers use proprietary fan pinouts. I didn't find any mention of this being the case with Lenovo. But it is a risk without a multimeter to confirm. You could also check your current fan to see if the color coding matches a standard 3pin or 4pin fan header. Though not as reliable as a multimeter.

If you do just replace the fan. You'll want one meant for heatsinks. But I couldn't recommend one without knowing the size in mm.
