Hello Guys,

My current Asus X99-PRO ATX LGA2011-3 Intel X99 Motherboard died a few days back after 5yrs. I am in need to replace it with another compatible one.
My current setup :-
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-5960X 3 GHz 8-Core Processor
  • Case: NZXT Phantom 630 Gunmetal Cabinet
  • CPU Cooler: Corsair H110 94 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
  • Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 CL15 Memory
  • Storage: Samsung 840 Pro Series 256 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
  • Storage: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
  • Power Supply: Cooler Master V1000 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
  • LiteOn IHAS122-06 WU/IHAS122-05 WU DVD Burner Internal Optical Drive
  • Graphic Card : PNY Nvidia Quadro 2000

Following are the ones which I've shortlisted (based on availability & delivery time) :-
  1. ASUS X99-DELUXE MOTHERBOARD (MRP: INR 58.5k/-)
  2. MSI 7883-001R Computer DIMM LGA 2011-3 Motherboard X99A GODLIKE Gaming Carbon (MRP: INR 67k/-)
  3. MSI X99A Gaming 7 Mother Board (MRP: INR 41k/-)
  4. MSI Computer Extreme Gaming Intel X99 LGA 2011 DDR4 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard (X99A Tomahawk) (MRP: INR 42k/-)
  5. Gigabyte X99 ATX Chipset Motherboard (GA-X99P-SLI) (MRP: INR 38k/-)
  6. GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-X99-Gaming 5P (rev. 1.0) LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 EATX (MRP: INR 48k/-)
(5), (7), (8) are not having built-in Wifi Card. Please suggest a good Wifi card if either of these are preferable.
No issue with buying Wifi Card.
Also, no budget constraints with motherboard.
Deciding factor for me is majorly stability.

Please help on this.

Thanks in advance! :)

Hi sydneyblue203,
Thanks for your suggestion. Even I'm tempted too because of current mobo which ran pretty neat for 5 years. Occasionally, it used to show incorrectly about overclocking. although I had kept at default bios settings with no overclocking enabled.
But regarding ASUS X99-DELUXE MOTHERBOARD, some users have complained about it. So, skeptical about it.

Guys any more suggestions.

Hi,

I went ahead and bought a MSI X99A Gaming 7 Mother Board. Got a pretty good deal with it.
Almost compatible with my earlier one; only notable difference is this one doesn't have wifi.
Also, this one is having very good ratings (lesser negative ones compared to others).

Hoping that this one turns out good without any issues. :)

Have a good day all!
