I had a Corsair Lighting Node and it failed right out of the box, and I hope the RMA doesn't fail either. But if it does, what would be a better lighting component? Bitfenix Alchemy or Asus Aura lighting? The system I am going to be using it with has an Asus ROG B450-F board so it has built in lighting headers and functionality. The case is a Phanteks Enthoo Pro M. Should I go with one of those lighting controllers instead? I have had mixed luck with the NZXT Hue+ system.

Since your MoBo has 2x regular RGB headers (12V/G/R/B), with a maximum power rating of 3A (12V), and LED strip no longer than 3 m in length, buy few 50/50 RGB strips and connect them directly to the MoBo headers. With 2x headers, you'd have 2x channels and some variety in controlling them directly via Asus Aura software. How you route the LED strips is up to you.

But if you want to have RGB control hub, then Silverstone LSB01 is one of such RGB hubs,

2nd one would be TT Sync Controller TT Premium Edition,

For 3rd option, Akasa offers...

For 3rd option, Akasa offers their Vegas control panel which would sit in your ODD bay and you'd also need 5.25" to 3.5" frame,

Or if you prefer your RGB hub to be PCI-E card, then Akasa Vegas control card,

I just came across to a piece of hardware that would suit your needs best if you plan to go with Asus Aura route. That piece of hardware is ROG Aura Terminal,
specs: https://www.asus.com/Motherboard-Accessories/ROG-Aura-Terminal/

With that, you'd have 4x channels to control your Aura RGB peripherals (fans/LEDs). ROG Aura Terminal is basically Asus'es version of NZXT HUE+.

I'm not sure if Akasa is available in the US or not, but I do like that control panel.
