Suggestions for Upgrades?

Hey, so I've had my computer for about 5 years now, haven't upgraded anything other than the Graphics cards.. I was thinking Maybe I should Upgrade my Processor, I plan on uploading to YouTube and doing Gaming, and This i7 is a bit outdated. Thanks in advanced!

Here are my specs:

Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz
ASUSTeK P8Z77-V PRO (LGA1155)
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz (9-9-9-24)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series
800w Power Supply

you've got the best processor for that old cpu socket.
a new cpu/mobo/ram would be great.

Yes the cpu is a bit outdated but its still a very viable chip none the less... If it was me I would just build a new system because you would have to buy new mem cpu board and Gpu to actually get a better performing system have you thought about a SSD for your main Os???

You could try overclocking and probably get another ~1GHz with a decent $30 or so cooler like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo (usually about 25% to 35% performance boost, not bad), but otherwise, you need a new motherboard if the CPU is causing bottlenecks because you can't do much better on that platform. There is the i7-2700K, but it's only marginally faster than the i7-2600K and not worth the cost.

Yeah, I'm definitely looking into a new motherboard and processor, I believe that that will improve my gaming experience a whole lot.
