Wanting to get a quality (mostly for gaming) desktop for my teen. He is wanting to build through cyberpower, but i am really hesitant after seeing such poor reviews. Both of us are GREEN when it comes to the ins and outs of PCs. could someone make a recommendation or have an alternative to cyberpower? not against just buying a stock Dell or similar. at this point, just frustrated and wanting to get it right the first time.

I'm bit late but, IBuyPower is same type of website, maybe bit pricey, but with that budget, you could get decent PC from them. Couple friends bought from them, but you may want to search some reviews.

you can customize on the site or you can try pcpartpicker, both are good, Helllfire13's list seems also really nice. IBuyPower just is similar to cyperbopwer pc, it's your choice.
