I am in the process of building a liquid system and would like ya'll input on this.

This is not my first liquid system, but it is my first custom system. I will be using parts from Danger Den cooling CPU, chipset, and GPU. My inquisition is in what order and manor do you recommend setting up the loop.

My plan: pump > CPU > Y (split a 1/2"-2 3/8")
> chipset >
> GPU > Y (join 2 3/8"-1/2")> radiator > reservoir

It should work fine as long as the GPU and the chipsetblocks are runing parallel to each other. You will get some flow restriction by just having the "Y" splitters in the loop. But I do not know if that will effect your temps much as you are in fact going from a single 1/2" tube to 2 3/8" tubes (which is equal to 3/4" in thoery) and then back to 1/2" after the blocks.

Give it a shot and let us know if that helps.

When you split with a Y connection sometimes the water is not split 50/50. some times back pressure, will foce more water down one tube compared to another.

That is one of my concerns, but I was thinking that both the chipset and GPU blocks are Maze4. I was hoping that because of this, the back pressures would be close.

Another thought I was having: after the chipset and GPU blocks, keep the system split and going to 2 120 X-flow rads. My theory is that the water will be moving slower and have more time to release heat. I would like thoughts, links, and personal experiences on this thought of mine.
