Question Suggestions On My System

This is my first and only system, been using it for 4 years now for school work and browsing etc. I wasn't into pc gaming until recently.
So I was thinking if I Could Game on my system with an upgrade or should build an entire new rig.
I'm okay with med settings at 1080p 30fps
I mostly played on console so I Just need something to get started on.

Specifications

Intel Pentium G2010 2.80 Ghz
Stock Cooler
4 Gb DDR3 Ram
Zebronics H61 1155 Socket Motherboard
Intel Integrated Graphics
iBall ZPS 254 PSU

Questions

Should I Change the PSU ?
If I upgrade the RAM to 8GB and get GPU will it suffice ?
Which GPU do you think will be compatible with these specs ?

Or Just Build a New One

If it were me I would buy a whole new system. Your current system the best you could do is a i7-3770K which for gaming is starting to show its age, and looking at used ones the prices are ridiculously high still (people are bad at valuing old PC hardware for some reason). The next issue is your PSU, its terrible and should not be used for a gamign rig.

What is your budget? Myself or other could give you a few build ideas.

I wouldn't invest many money into it, but if your budget doesn't permit to build a whole new system then i'd advise on the following:

1. Upgrade the CPU to the i7-3770 (Non k SKU) Make sure you do not use the cpu heat sync from your existing processor.
2. Upgrade the memory to 16gb.
3. Upgrade the graphics to a gtx 1060 or up to gtx 1660ti
4. If your PSU is as old as the system, yes purchase a new power supply that is under warranty.

RAM 16gb 3200mhz Trident GSkill

Coolermaster master case mc500

Is it overkill for for 1080p gaming at very high to ultra ?
I can't decide a GPU for it though.
$1000 to 1200$ max budget with Monitor etc

That's a good mid-range system and the x470 will support higher core count processors should you decide to upgrade. I would go 250gb capacity as a bare minimum for solid-state drive. It's a pain in the ass to be constantly trying to free up drive space. I'm not going anything lower than 1tb going forward. What would you pick for the graphics card?

It says you're ok with 1080p 30 fps. If that's the case and you only have a 60hz 1080p monitor, then the RTX 2060 wouldn't be worth it. Even the 1660ti would be able to more than match fps with your monitor's refresh rate.

What games are you looking to play? A good 550w gold certified Seasonic or EVGA G2 or higher.

the more recent games and story oriented games like witcher and ac odyssey maybe some online fps etc
I want it to be able to play at least the future 5 yrs worth of games at decent frames and quality
