Suggestions On New Gaming Build, Part II

Thanks to everyone for their input so far, it has been a learning experience. I wanted to post the original build idea with the current revisions to show the evolution and to ask for input on if my reasoning for the changes is sound:

Reason: Increased overclock performance and features at the expense of on board wireless

Reason: Chose to not go with the i5 4670K to save about $100, instead I am hoping the hyper threading of the i7 will help with multitasking such as running a game on one screen and other apps on another. Also, future console ports from eight core cpu consoles may make use of the the threading as well.

Reason: Staying with the 16GB instead of the 8GB to aid in multitasking and make use of the motherboards Ram Disk feature.

Reason: I chose to step up one tier on Tom's GPU chart for the same price instead of two tiers to the GTX 770 to save about $100

Reason: Still love this SSD

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit - OEM ~ $140

Reason: Still need it for 32GB Ram maximum on the board, plus I can't stand the Windows 8 interface.

I will recommend an i5-4670k with a Corsair AIO cooler eg. H75 or H100i (if you can afford it, otherwise the H75 is a great performer). Also try a GTX 770 with the i5. It will give better performance, as i7's are for video editing and higher-end performance. For gaming, the i5 is the limit of what games can use. RAMDisk isn't the best thing to use, as you can only allocate ~8Gb and still be left with the comfortable cushion of 8Gb for other software. Also, RAMDisk is cleared when you shut down, so shut-downs take a small bit longer (won't be too long as you have an SSD) so it isn't a permanent storage solution.+
