I have a $1500-$1700 budget. I don't plan on overclocking and I plan on running L4D2, Civ 5, Dayz, Battlefield and Rome 2 (when it is properly patched)

So far for my build this is what I've decided on:

Corsair Obsidian Series 550D or Corsair C70 case

Monitor: ASUS VX228H Black 21.5" 1ms response time (I plan on using this monitor for console gaming as well)

HDD: WD BLACK SERIES WD2003FZEX 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

Video card: Gigabyte Windforce GTX 760 (By the time I build it I will probably be buying a GTX 860)

PSU: CORSAIR CXM series CX600M 600W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Memory:Team Vulcan 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-UD3H LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K

CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Frio (Any options that will be smaller and fit better are wanted)

OS: Microsoft Windows 7

Anti virus: KASPERSKY lab Anti-Virus 2013 - 1 PC OEM (I am very interested in other cheaper or better antivirus options including free ones)

Optical Drive: ASUS Black Blu-ray Drive

Cables :2x Link Depot HDMI-2-HDMI 6 ft. HDMI TO HDMI A/V Cable - OEM

What do you guys think? Suggestions for better stuff for the price are greatly appreciated

with a budget like that id suggest getting a bigger and better power supply, not that corsair isnt a good brand, its just the CX series is not the best, and you have top dollar parts hinging on it. Also gives you more options down the road with Sli. Also id recommend a solid state drive (like 60GB) for the OS and most important programs, and that other HDD on the side as a storage drive. If your still wanting to upgrade a bit, and im only mentioning these things since your budget is pretty big, get 1866 or 2133 Mhz RAM

OK is this PSU better: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750M BRONZE Certified Semi Modular High Performance Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready. Thanks for the recommendations but right now i think i'll leave the RAM and SSD alone. BTW do you have any specific recommendations for PSUs because i'm not very familiar with them although i've heard Seasonic and thermaltake are good

Yes that's a good quality
Psu with plenty of wattage. Will warrant many upgrades down the road
