According to this Reddit post, View: https://www.reddit.com/r/Corsair/comments/ceefy5/what_are_the_differences_between_these_3_corsair/

the Corsair vengeance RGB pro
CMW16GX4M2D3600C18 Timings are 18-22-22-42.
same with
CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18 Timing 18-22-22-42.
so in you guys opinion, which one is the better kit?? I don’t really understand all the “b-die” and “non b-die” talks. So I’m just looking for suggestions on which one should I buy??

i am planning to get a Ryzen 7 2700x with a rog strix b450-f motherboard.
Help appriciated, thanks in advance!! :)

None, get this. Cheaper, lower CAS and made specifically for Ryzen.

Might as well get DDR 3200 if you are getting high latency 3600
I’m planning to put it into a Ryzen 7 2700x, and if I’m not wrong, AMD likes fast ram. And I’m sure even if I get a high latency 3600, it will be more stable if I overclock it. So yeah, $50 is $50, I rather save it and put it into somewhere else.

The reason Ryzen likes fast RAM is because it has a high latency memory controller. The memory speed x CAS latency gives an overall latency. DDR 3600 CAS 18 is slower than DDR 3200 CAS 16. The extra speed is only helpful if you have appropriate latency. Options 1 or 2 are better if that’s what you wanna go with.
