Ok so found out. Got junk psu 500w...going forward is a quality 500w enough for my system. Asus h270 prime. I7 7700k gigabyte rtx 2060oc,16 gb ram 1 120gb sata ssd 1 wd 1tb 7200 hdd.

A good 550W would be fine in this system (there are few good PSUs at precisely 500W). You'd have to identify which PSU you were talking about to get detailed feedback. There have been a lot of times in which someone here decided to buy a PSU blind and replaced their junk PSU with another junk PSU.
So from what I've been able to research without pulling it out....it's an apex 500w... which I know is junk....so I wouldn't have a problem replacing with good 550-650w...

Yes it's a steal.
Hey so follow up question...I plan on getting psu this weekend..I was goofing around and ran my rig with HDMI on the onboard Intel 630 chip...no rebooting...I know gaming sucks with this but running boarderlands 3 no rebooting...also I know it doesn't draw the power my rtx does...so my question is do you still think it's a psu problem..I also diconnected the rtx card...just wondering...
