I'm looking to build new pc and was hoping for some component suggestions. I have a budget of 3000$ and I would like to get a 2x 28" monitors and have the best computer possible to run them.I don't need a keyboard,speakers,mouse ect.

Purchase Date - Near Future
System Usage - HD Multimedia,Multitasking,Gaming
Parts Not Required- Keyboard,mouse,sound
Websites - newegg
brand preferences - Asus mobos
overclocking - would prefer not
Sli or crossfire - possibilty for future but not at the present
Monitor Resolution - would like dual 28" at highest res possible

Don't get the extreme edition processor, its way overpriced, just get the 920, that way you can spend more on other components and have a much better system.

Run those raptors in Raid 0 for super speed and use the 1tb for data backup. The PSU I have there will allow you to add a second GPU in the future. That Cooler will allow you to overclock the CPU so that you can match or even surpass the performance of the i7-965 fairly easily, the i7-920 overclocks like a champ.

What are you using your computer for? The build I suggested is optimized for gaming, but if that isn't a big concern then changes can be made to it and we will advise you accordingly.

If you want to cut the price a bit then you could go for the HD 4850x2, which will be plenty for non-gaming uses, however if you play modern games then you should stick with the GTX 295 since you are looking to use some very large monitors.
