[SOLVED] Suitable cpu am3/am3+ socket for amd rx570 8GB GPU

I need your advice , i won this GPU , msi radeon rx570 armor 8gb and i would need a good cpu with socket am3/am3+ as i have such mobo and really no extra money to buy a completely new pc , otherwise i would look for ryzen cpu. I have seen some older , FX CPUs with pretty good price. Just some recommandation to buy something with low bottleneck. Right now installed amd phenom ii x4 955 overclocked to 3.5ghz what is actually poor.

Save your money for a motherboard/CPU/RAM upgrade. Limp by with the X4. An FX won't be enough better to justify any expense, IMO.

Agreed, an X4 like that honestly has single core performance somewhat comparable to FX series processors.
