Suitable power supply

So i need some help with a replacement powersupply for a gigabyte p4 titan GA-81k1100 motherboard

Intel Chipset 875p

The original power supply was a enermax model atx 12v v1.2

Which haf pin 18 (-5v)

I was wondering whether or not the new powersupplies like corsair cx or vs series will work for this motherboard as new v2.0+ atx powersupply tend to lack the -5v

What i want to know, does the -5v have any relevant use on a motherboard?

The motherboard was from about 2007~2009

Don't get any CX or VS Series from corsair, both are terribly bad.

Stick with tier 1 or 2 preferably.

Does it matter whether or not,that the power supply is missing a -5v connector?
