Suitable PSU for ATI 5850 !

Hi guys i was looking for a Good PSU forSingle ATI 5850 & i5 760 , & i found Corsair TX650 , but it was little expensive i was think about geting cheaper one Like : OCZ StealthXStream - 600W

Can u suggest me a GOOD & High enough power supply with great quality for those hardwares , Something Cheaper please

Neither is high quality by any means, i wouldnt be surprised if the 880 watt can only pull 550.

Then why don't you consider Corsair CX600W? it has a good price.
And about Green powers,i guess you mean the models that are manufactured only in Asia.I wouldn't recommend it at all and like ct1615 mentioned,there are lots of better brands.

that's not how PSU work. a 650w sigma is not better then a 500w antec. also PSU can not make your PC run faster. either they can provide the constant power your PC needs or they simply can't.


FYI, i thought he was talking about coolmax green units at first. if you can get "green" PSU then are you currently in asia? if so what web site are you looking to buy off and do you have a budget?

I think he meant with a cheaper PSU he would have to spend less money thus get the PC faster and easier.

That BP550 is probably his best bet though. But I dont see anything wrong with the ModStream 500W either, decent PSU with 432W on the 12v rails.

SO Suggest me something that i can use for even other new SYSTem ( something that will work LONGER )

If you want something thats future proof and upgradable, you are probably going to end up spending more money on say this:

Those are the 5 higher end 750w PSU's. They are 750w+ because thats generally whats recommended for dual cards, so it gives you that option, and all should last a very long time.

You arent making sense, you cant get better unless you pay more. PSU is one market where you really get what you pay for. If you pay less than the TX650, you are going to get a mixture of lower wattage output and less quality. If you pay more, you will get more wattage output and higher quality. If you dont plan on OC'ing or Xfire, which i think is a bit of a waste, and i always like to keep the Xfire idea open, then you dont need more than 650w.

Thanks , I know that rule that if i pay more i will get more but there is a rule that if u get somthing that will 100% provide u then there is no need to get more than that because that thing & more will give same result , for example if 5850 can 100 kill ur lags there is no need to get 5970 ! thats why i want to know if 650TX can provide me 100% or there is lower option that will . if lower option will be 95% then i dont want it , just say the word according to my needs . no CF no OC no SLI !

+1, good details. you are going to have to pay if you want a long life, sturdy power supply. I spent extra money on mine just to ensure that it would last the life of the system.

Yes,its true.Green makes cheap and bad quality PSUs, so i like i said don't consider them at all.
If you are finding 600W PSUs expensive,then like ct1615 mentioned,go with a 500W PSU,It can handle a single 5850 fine

You can find Corsair and Coolermaster PSUs which are both good and reliable.You also can find Antec but its not widely available.

Corsair ? i asked but no one is talk about it in IRAN , shopkeepers here say : GREEN & Coolermaster for good warranty . but i wish i can buy Corsair in here with good warranty , oh please Confirm the brands below for each hardware ( say if they are good in iRAN or no )

RAM: kingmax , kingston , geil

Mark one of them as best From Quality & warranty in IRAN only . PLEASE

Corsair is also hard to find, you have to search but you'll find it.Even if you don't,then have a look at Coolermaster silent pro M600.
As for VGA,Motherboard and RAM,well all of them are good brands and depends on the model.But i "personally" prefer XFX for VGA,ASUS for motherboard and Geil between the RAM choices.
