Suitable USB 3.0 card(s)

My computer is a 3+ year old desktop which I assembled from Newegg.com components. It has an Asus P6T motherboard. I want to add a USB 3.0 PCI card capable of getting close to the top USB 3.0 rated transfer speed. One that also had front ports for convenience would be a plus. A minimum of Internet searching has indicated that only fairly new cards probably running Windows 7 can do this with low cost cards. In any case, I would appreciate any response with Brand(s) and Model (s) which would have high transfer rate performance.

My shops have built machines with USB 3 motherboards, cards and hubs...

One thing I can tell you is you will get nowhere near the advertised speeds...

A little better than 2 speeds is the best you can hope for...
