Sulfurs effect on electronics?

I moved to a hotspring area and keep hearing that the sulfur in the air will degrade my electronics. Is this true and if so how do I prevent damage?

You can probably minimize but not eliminate it. A dehumidifier and keeping the doors and windows closed as much as possible is what you can do to minimize.

Coat motherboard with an extra layer of clear spray paint on backside then with a fine brush cover circuit traces. (do not coat the chips as they need to cool)
You could also give the sulfur something else to eat. Get a copper sheet or the copper pot scrubber and position btw intake fan and motherboard, replace when white.
