Ok, so thanks to other responses recently I have been able to determine wat two graphics cards I can likely use. Will either of these be usable with my current system? I would like to just upgrade my current graphics card that came with my system.

Processor 3.6 GHz FX-Series Quad-Core FX-4100
RAM 8 GB DDR3
Hard Drive 1024 GB SATA III
Graphics Coprocessor NVIDIA GT610
Graphics Card Ram Size 1024 MB
Number of USB 2.0 Ports 6
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Computer Memory Type DDR3 SDRAM
Hard Drive Interface Serial ATA-600
Hard Drive Rotational Speed 7200 RPM
Optical Drive Type 24x DVD±RW
PSU: Turbolink ATX-TL500W-BK

I was suggested either the AMD 7750 or 7770, will either of these work? Is my PSU capable of handling this? Will my PSU even have the plusg to allow this? I do not want to have to do all the cable management, thats why it was bought prebuilt.

Does anyone know if upgrading to one of the two cards will be possible with my current PSU? Or if I need any additional things to make the upgrade work?

Here is the details on the PSU

The system is powered by a 500 Watt Turbolink branded switching power supply with model number ATX-TL500W-BK. This is a brand that we haven't heard of before. It has two +12V rails with +12v1 being rated at 16 Amps and +12v2 being rated at 18 Amps. This power supply doesn't have any PCIe 6-pin power connectors for video card expansion, which is a bit of a bummer as we always like PCs to have an upgrade path. We took a look around the system and found all the power connectors were used except for one 4-pin molex connector and a SATA power connector.

You should probably get an upgrade, best ones are seasonic and corsair, XFX and OCZ.
Get one with at least two pci e 6 pin connectors.
This is where most GFX cards are going so you will technically be futureproofing, also your amperages seem quite low.
Dont get brands like cit, alpine, and other no names.
Others will advise you the same.
But please dont go overkill, anything less than 600w is fine and keep it over 500w, to be safe.

The cheaper the better, but I also am seeking better performance. I was hoping to upgrade the crappy GPU my system came with, but it seems to do that I have to upgrade the PSU as well. I would like to get the 7750 or the 7770 (is there much difference in them) so my MMO games are less choppy in heavy population areas of the game.
