Sunbeam core-contact freezer compatibility

I was wondering if the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835207004 is compatible with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128359 . I have the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835207006 and it just barely fits between the northbridge and stuff on the top of the board. Anyone use this board and heatsink together? Lemme know, thanks.

The difference between normal and "low profile" is the height and fan size only. It sounds like you need width clearance.

I have the CCF installed in my rig, and the fan touched the ram chips. Moving the ram chips to the other slots solved the problem. Try getting a ruler and measuring. iirc, you get about 4 CM clearance between the contact point and the first fin, make sure you measure from the top of the chip not the bottom of the MB.
