Sunlight on components

Hi! Yesterday I built a new PC and it works just fine, but when I got up this morning I noticed that the sunlight shone right at my side panel window. The PC works just fine and didn't have any problems starting up and when I touched the window it wasn't very hot at all. I just want to know if that one time is anything to worry about or if it's just long time exposure that will damage my PC.

It would take years to have much of an effect. But personally I would turn it so it doesn't shine directly into the case. Direct exposure can damage your components.

Yes that's what I was a little worried about since my pc has a see trough window side panel. But it won't be exposed to the sun anymore and I just wonder if I should worry about this single time
