Fairly standard included accessories. The owners manual is a bit of a letdown, being a blanket unit for any Superflower PSU

Now on to the teardown. I apologize in advance for not being very detailed. I do intend to use this unit and did not want to mess with it too much. Some components could not be visible without removing other components, for example.

I was not able to see the supervisor IC since I believe it was the one on a daughter board wedged between the pfc? Coil and a transformer.

Thanks for this, wasn't fast enough myself to decide whether i need it or not.
Supervisor ICs Super Flower use are proprietary anyway with no datasheets available so that wouldn't help. But it would be good if you actually do a components breakdown of the rest (particularly power semiconductors), not just the main capacitor and the fan. Look at Aris reviews of Leadex III Gold / EVGA G2/G3 for the reference, the layout is similar so everything should be at the same places.

Budget Super Flower units (assuming they're not made on RSY lines to start with) are fine but not really that top notch.
Actually, if forgot that this model is probably what they were selling to EVGA for B3, so you can just go from there : https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/evga-650-b3-psu,5624-3.html
Looked off of that, it was very helpful, especially the photos.

Here are the only 2 differences:

The Superflower has:
Nippon Chemicon 400v 470uf 105c
Globe Fan S1202512M Fluid Dynamic Bearing
The EVGA has:
Nippon Chemicon 400v 470uf 95c
Fan Model S1282412H sleeve bearing.

Other than the higher temp rating bulk cap and a higher quality fan, all of the other components are identical on the list there.

Only thing I didn't verify was the resonant controller because of the heat shrink and epoxy over it.

Of course the board for the connectors is different. I might get a photo of that

Could buy a maximum of 2. Didn't feel like bothering to resell just one. I really didn't need it right now but I probably will find a use for it soon. For that price I didn't need a good reason :ROFLMAO:

Opening it did involve breaking a warranty sticker but I'm not too bothered.

One thing I really like about this PSU is the connectors. Every port on the PSU side is the same and every cable uses the same connector, meaning it doesn't matter what port you plug any cable into. The only exception is the 24 pin.

By the way I couldn't get out the connector pcb easily without desoldering, so I don't have any photos of that.
