It may be rated higher with 230V input, but I'm assuming that the protection circuit wouldn't really decipher between 115V and 230V and accordingly adjust the over power protection limit accordingly. Or will it be able to?

Also, what about voltage inputs between 115V and 230V?

Can anyone explain difference between the two 650W versions? I want to buy one but not sure what is special about MG vs EG versions.

I'm looking to buy the SF-650F14MG, as that is the model # listed online.
