Can’t decide between two 1000W PSU's for RTX 3080 and i7-12700k (want to upgrade to RTX 4080-90 and i9-****K later):
  • Super Flower Leadex SE Platinum, 1000W ATX Platinum SF-1000F14MP;
  • Chieftec CHIEFTRONIC PowerPlay 1050W Platinum GPU-1050FC.
(There is no Seasonic in my country)

Both are tier A according to psucultists tier list and are sold for approximately the same price in my country.

So I need a high quality PSU which can filter out RTX3xxx and RTX4xxx transient spikes without shutdown issues.

Which one should I choose?

P.S. I don’t think I really care about PSU fan’s sound but it shouldn't be annoying. I've found some reviews where users state that Super Flower one can make annoying noise, but haven't found any info about Chieftec's fan.

Then you didn't look all that well, because Aris talks about it here:

It has a rifle bearing fan. It also has an aggressive fan profile so it is noisy even under normal conditions.

I would absolutely go with the Leadex SE Platinum as indications are this is an even better unit than the original Leadex Platinum, which means it's a pretty terrific unit with fantastic voltage regulation, ripple suppression and unless they for some crazy reason switched to a lower quality fan, amazingly quiet as well.

Anything is possible, but overall I've generally only ever seen Super Flower IMPROVE models from one generation to the next. I can't recall seeing them regress.
