First off I should start by listing my specs
I built my PC a little over a year ago and bought all my parts new.
Nvidia RTX 3070 Founders Edition
Ryzen 7 3700x
Asus x570-pro
Corsair RM850x psu
Both NVMe m.2 ssds are Samsung 970 evos
To keep it short, my problem is getting 1-10% GPU utilization when running games in DirectX12. I initially noticed this with Halo Infinite but thought it was a weird one time fluke, but when I went to revisit Warzone I had the exact same issue. At this point I noticed a pattern so I tried running 2 games that give you the choice between DX11 and DX12. Icarus is one of those and Battlefront 2 was the other. Both of these games have a choice between DX11 and DX12 and both work fine with a normal 80-99% GPU utilization, but the second it goes to DX12, I get 0-15ish % and consequently gets 0-5fps. The same goes for other games using DX12 such as Halo Infinite and Warzone. The only exception to this that I've notices is Eldin Ring which runs at a perfect 60 frames at all times using max settings which leads me to believe that the issue is only on older versions of DX12, but that's just a random guess. Absolutely no videos or articles or forum posts online have helped me so please... if someone has a fix I need it.
