super slow ssd right next to super fast! Help me speed it up please

hey, ive got two samsung 960 ssds on my computer.

The 1tb has read / write of 4444/2533 mb/sec.

The 500 gig has read / write of 494/518 mb/ sec.

I've tried a bunch of stuff, switching sata ports, changing cables. I'm stumped.

Can anyone give any advice on how to pick up the speed of the slower ssd?

The 1TB obviously has RAM caching which is invalidating the benchmark. If it is a Samsung, this would be Samsung RAPID Mode. I think it is limited to one drive. 500MB is fine for a SATA SSD.
