supermicro audio not working

I recently set up a pc for a friend(details below). windows does not see any audio device3s connected. Things i have tried:

reinstalling realtek
windows trouble shooter
tried front panel input and made sure the plug to the mobo was good
tried every audio output on the back panel
tried multiple speakers and headphones.

does anyone have any advice on where to go from there?

The Rig.

Intel 6700k
Supermicro C7h170-m mATX board
PNY quadro K620
EVGA DDR4 3200
RAM.
Running Windows 10 Pro

from the device manager, find the sound devices and uninstall them, but not delete drivers and restart...

What do you get?

it still isnt showing any sound devices connected. if i left click on the icon it goes to windows problem solver but cant find an issue

Is it enabled in the BIOS?

there is nothing in the bios regarding the audio i/o

most normal onboard sound devices have something in the BIOS about the sound device.

you got the driver suite from here as well?

Yeah they don't have a utility for the drivers that link just brings you to the individual driver downloads which I've done multiple times. I can't find anywhere in there. iOS that mentions the audio output. This board is really seeming like a mistake at this point. Would resetting the pic do me any good in your opinion?

not really... It does not show in the Device Manager either?

the other thing you can try is a "Live" boot of Linux via USB or DVD/CD. this will tell you if the hardware is working.

corroded have cover basic repair for your answer. I think its time to claim the warranty since its new. Why bother trying to fix other mistake while its still under warranty? Even when you manage to fix it, there certainly something wrong with the chipset since you were unable to get it working from installing fresh window.
