Page 2-21 of your motherboard manual mentions a "PWR Alarm Reset" jumper. The beeping could be an alarm.

Reset is located at JPR1. Refer to the
board layout below for the location.
The 2 pins of JPR1 are not shorted from the beginning. Shorting them does nothing. Shorting them from startup, and after startup. Is this what your saying? not 100% sure.. the other 2 sets of pins that are shorted are,JPG1 - VGA EN (NOT VGA DIS) & J9 - EN BEEPER. Ive tried a seperate power supply, same issue. Could it be do to RAM? im using 800Mhz when it says 667mhz or under is required. I know that most motherboards just downclock the RAM, is this not the case? is it doing this because of the RAM issue?
