I have recently purchased a system based on a Supermicro X10DAi motherboard + a Samsung 960 Pro SSD connected to the system via a Lycom DT-120 adapter card. Everything seems to work fine and Ubuntu has successfully recognized the SSD during installation, but unfortunately, the X10DAi does not allow me to boot from the SSD card.

While browsing through the net, I did find some owners of X10DAi based systems that were able to boot off an NVMe SSD drive, but haven't been able to find any information that helped me. I have already tried setting the boot configuration to UEFI and setting the PCIe slot to which the SSD is connected to EFI, but no matter what I do, the system never manages to boot off the Ubuntu installation that's in the SSD. I was wondering if ever anyone could give me any hint?
