Hi,

I am stripping a DELL Poweredge r630 and want to know if primarily this memory and cpu is compatible with Supermicro X10DAi?

My plan is to move the components to standard atx motherboard and a large tower case with enough good airflow and still as quiet as possible. AIO Coolers etc.

16 modules of
Hynix
32GB 2Rx4 PC4 -2400T-RB1-11

2pcs Intel XEON

E5-2650V4
SR2N3 2.2Ghz

It should be.
I would be concerned about AIO water cooling. There will be no airflow over the VRMs around the CPU sockets.

I am looking at one of these three cases:

  • Corsair Carbide 275R Airflow
  • Corsair Obsidian 750D Airflow Edition
  • Corsair Carbide Air 540 Cube Case

The "Corsair Carbide Air 540 Cube Case" look nice, but seems that it has little room for disks!?
Maybe, the Obsidian case is a better choice!?

Has anyone maybe other suggestions in choice of motherboard for these components?
