Supermicro X9DRW-3LN4F Beeping 16 times no display

Just bought a Supermicro server at a garage sale for dirt cheap a while ago. I tested it when i got home and it worked but I haven't used it since. Today I hook it up and its beeping. Two beeps upon startup right away, then a few seconds it will start 16 short beeps. Power supplys seem good and I made sure the RAM was installed properly. No red led lights, and green lights on motherboard to prove its not shorted out. Mouse and keyboard seem to come and go, first keyboard then mouse disconnects. I also get no display. Downloaded the manual and doesn't show 16 beeps. Not even google or any other server i can find shows 16 beep error code.

Any ideas?

As you've already discovered, 16 beeps is undocumented. I would therefore translate that to mean that the motherboard itself is faulty.

I'm now wondering if the CMOS battery is bad rather than the whole motherboard. At least i'm hoping because the motherboard is going for about $500 each.
