Ok, I got to level 19 where I meet the Super Soldier. I have no idea where
to run or what to use to kill him.

It's pretty neat with the keyboard and mouse

Well, there really isn't anywhere to run, except around the circular
arena... Use whatever guns you have available to kill him. You can't
figure that out yourself...?

Ummmm, yeah.

When I asked that question earlier I was told to lure him into the cave
opening and cause the cave to fall in on him,,, not sure how they did that
but several people used that method... they also killed the witch thing
first off with a scope.

I think you're talking about the Gorilla with the spooky things coming out
of it. I figured that out many levels ago. You go back into the cave,
then come out, shoot whatever real quick then go back in. Pretty soon the
ape just blows up into several small creatures I think.

This is in a building standing on a metal grate right after a video about
some guy saying it will be an honor to watch his machine tear me from limb
to limb.

Of course I have but nothing I do have works. I even used the rocket
launcher as I already have for several kills. Nothing I can empty on the
guy will kill him before he kills me.

Darn, and I figured out the end of WOLF3D in less than a day

You are probably right. I am talking about the very last fight with the big
guy outside with some extra help, and the little witch alongside him. Don't
remember where you are, its been about a year since I played through the
game.
Sorry
Jim
But I'm still hoping to hear about a expansion pack for wolfenstein

IIRC I just got the pillar between me and him and kept shooting him in the
head with the rifle.

Hopefully you have the Tesla gun it's the one that looks like the old
gattling gun
There is an area where he has a real hard time killing you.

After you hear deathshead give his spiel take the left stairs all the
way down quick.

Then get into the far right corner where the protective helmets and
jackets are just in front of the bottom of the stairs, he will probably
shoot a missile at you try to avoid it.

Do a save before you get to the entrance and deathshead starts his rambling.

Then don’t inch out to far just enough to shoot around the corner.

Like the other guy says use the pillars between you for protection.

If you have the rapid-fire gun use it and then use the rifle to shoot
the German scientists that come out to shoot you

I have gone through the PC version and the XBOX version seven times each
and this is the one that works best in both versions.

After you are finished dealing with them you will have the protective
clothing where you are and on the right there should be emergency kits.

Hope this helps.

It's generally a good idea to figure out in which hand such an adversary
holds its primary weapon. And then consequently sneak up on him around
obstacles on his weak side. If you time it carefully you might even get
him with dynamite, if there's any available.
Plus use the ability of grenades to rebound from walls, so you wont have
to face the thing... uhm... face to face.

Dynamite does not work on him as he will simply back off when you toss it.

Gernades won't work either.

BTW, I've gotten through the entire game now. Try level 25. It's more
difficult then Level 19.

That is where I am stuck with the super solder now. I ave tried everything
that I could, hate those pesky little twips that shoot at you from above
when you are trying to run and hide from s.s. what weapon works best with
him? I am assuming the venom, that is all I have tried on him, but still to
no avail.

The rocket launcher works best but you have to hit him before he gets one
off or they will intercept each other.

The first thing you do is jump over the railing and make it down to the lab
where you can lure the soldier to a point in front of the window where you
want him, then jump up on top of the ledge right in front of him. He will
then stop in his tracks. Then you must very carefully go to a point behind
him where you can lean over and nail him with a rocket. Keep that up and it
takes three direct hits with the rocket and then about 100 rounds with the
venom gun to drop him.

Each time you blow something up the men upstairs will try to shoot you.
Switch to the machine gun with the silencer and nail them. They are easy.

Once you drop the Super Soldier, the guy that has been nagging at you over
the loudspeaker will come running down and try to shoot you. Nail him and
you can exit the room. There will be a few more easy ones to deal with
after that and you're home free.

Thanks Bill,

I tried about four times this A.M. And Finally killed him, and the
rest of the little brigade, to get to the next level the Bridge. I am 40 yrs
old, and never have played a shoot'em up game until this one, I hope they
are not all this good, or it could be somewhat addicting. Thanks again for
your help.

The next level you will have problems with is level 25. When you get there,
let me know.

You might consider the game Doom.

They are not all as good, but some are better. For your next adventure,
I'd suggest Half-Life 2 or Doom 3.

I will have to look into that, maybe it will be a good next winter game.
Thanks again for the help.

Thanks for the tip. I am usually out on the lake whenever it is warm
enough to launch the boat, but gamming is a great winter pasttime. Thanks
