have a serious doubt about it,probably they will start with 2.0Ghz or so.
That was what I said and in fact what will happen. It will start at 2GHZ or more.

The official numbers as of now say 2.0Ghz... But if things change, or AMD wants to get a little rough on Intel, they might go with a 2.2Ghz or something. Just to ensure their safety. Might be a good move.

Anyway, does anyone here know what kind of max clock rates the inicial A64 core might handle? 2.4, maybe 2.6Ghz?... I don't know... I was under the impression that I read somewhere that they wouldn't be able to go much more beyond that. (that's why even AMD put 90nm on their 2004 roadmap)... Anyone correct me if I'm wrong here, please...
