SUPPORT for DDR3 ram in asus M2N68-AM PLUS motherboard

i am having athlon II X2 processor and the asus M2N68-AM PLUS with 2 gb ddr2 ram....
i wanna know that if my motherboard support ddr3 ram so i can remove my old ram and get a new ddr3 ram which i cheaper than ddr2 ram.....
PLEASE HELP.....

No need to struggle, your mobo won't support DDR3, it's clear on the official website: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M2N68AM_PLUS/#specifications

If u wanna using DDR3 RAM, u may have to change the mobo too.

+1 - It will not support DDR3 memory unless you get a motherboard with DDR3 support. If you need memory upgrade for your DDR2 mobo then try crucial.com, Kingston.com or try this website (http://www.memorystock.com/memory/ASUSM2N68AMPLUS.html) Good luck!~!

Currently there are still DDR2 RAM modules selling but there aren't at a good price as DDR3 modules for the same amounts (eg. a 4GB DDR2 800 is even more expensive than a 4GB DDR3 1600)
