Good day,

I have an AMD A6 6400k APU on a Biostar A58MDP motherboard and im planning to buy a Sapphire R7 250 graphics card. Will my APU and motherboard support dual graphics? If not, what are the supported graphics card for my APU if i want to run it on dual graphics?

Thanks

As strictly an office computer (not really needing much in the way of graphics power), you shouldn't run into any problems running a dual-monitor system. I've run dual-monitors on much older cards (also in a non-gaming environment) and ran into no problems what-so-ever. I often watch live TV on one display and surf the web on the secondary with my old 8800GTS-640.

Thank you for the hasty reply. I have another question though. With that setup im planning to run a dual-monitor using VGA and DVI. Which setup would give me the best performance? One monitor running on the on-board graphics and one on the video card? Or both monitors running on the video card?

Thank you for the reply. How about if I ditch dual-graphics, will my motherboard still support the R7 without any performance issue?

Sir, your input has been very valuable. I have one last question. If i ran dual-monitor on the R7 using VGA and DVI, will there be any performance problem? My original plan was to use it for mid-range gaming but since AMD Dual-graphics is not supported i'm planning to use it as an office computer instead.
