Discussion Suprise: 1gb DDR2 still good in 2019

I have just found the old PC in my company.
- PentiumE5300
-Main ECS G31T M9

• 1gb DDR2 533Mhz
• Win XP Profession 2002 SP3

And can you believe it? It still run good with basic needs.

I am running it with two word files, open three web browser's windows ( Tomshaware;Youtube, shopping online). I'm using it during three hours,and it still run good,don't see and lag or slowdown.

Compare with my old PC ( which be broken in 2013):
Sempron 3000+
1gb DDR2 533Mhz
Main M2N-MX
Win XP

My old PC very slow before its death in 2013. I can't open and use many web browser's windows too long. RAM soon be limited.

I though that it is because the RAM too little. But now,I think it actually because the CPU. During 2013,Simple Core is outdate already. But if we use DualCore, we still can use the old PC with basic needs ( sorry for my grammar) until now.
