surface or pro

i have an alienware m14x r2 still works dencently it stopped charging about 6 months ago. thinking about ditching it and getting a surface or surface pro. for school tasks some light gaming like terraria or minecraft and browser based games. i have read a few reviews but am looking to see which version would be best for me

There are 3 kinds of surfaces:

1. Surface RT/Surface 2 = Windows RT ARM (limited) OS
2. Surface 3 and all Surface Pros = Full blown windows 8 OS

RT is defiantly a very bad option, since windows RT is both dying and has a very limited amount of apps.

I think the Surface 3 Pro with a Intel Core i3 will suit you best, ATOMs don't have great graphics and the i3's HD graphics will easily handle minecraft or any of those light games.
