[SOLVED] Surface Pro 4 Keyboard Stopped Working

Hello, I have a Suface Pro 4 I use for design and work. One day I turned it on and the keyboard/mouse just stopped working.

The problem: It does not turn on, the mouse and keys do not do anything. But when i detach it the computer goes to tablet mode and when i reattach it again it goes to desktop mode. The computer itself is working perfectly, including the touch screen.

What I tried:

Detaching and attaching the keyboard part.
Updating the driver
Made a windows update and downloaded the latest drivers and bios.
Uninstalling the device and restarting the laptop to reinstall the drivers
Cleaning the keyboard and laptop connection pins.
I tested an usb keyboard, it worked.

If you can, go to a MS Store, and see whether they can find you a SP4 keyboard for tests.

Is a long trip to the MS store, i might get a keyboard from a friend that uses a surface pro 3. If it has the same pins it should work right?

You mean a windows 10 format and reinstall? If its a software issue it should be clear by the steps i did?

If I read this right ,it seems they are "compatible, at least on pin level.
