Surface Pro 4 no longer giving my games a 'boost' when plugged in

I used to get about 50-70 fps with my Surface Pro 4 in certain games (such as WoW) with lowish settings, and now I'm getting a solid 20-30 fps. I'm certain this is because of it no longer receiving power appropriately because these are similar frames that I would get when it was not plugged in, back in the day.

Is there any way to force my tablet to either inform me how much power it's receiving, or just allow it to get the power it needs and should be able to get while plugged in?

Yeah sadly, customized power settings even and it barely has aa fraction the options a normal surface pro 4 does.
