Surface Pro 6 w/ 1TB microSD card?

Has anyone gotten a 1TB micro SD card to work with their Surface Pro 6 tablet? I've only got a 256GB SP6 and after installing programs, have about 100GB free (which I want to keep free for various reasons such as disc cache for some programs, like Photoshop and Lightroom, or if I Need to install more software, etc). I had a 256GB micro SD card but filled that up already so I'm thinking of just getting a 1TB card if they work in the SP6. I have considered a 512GB but since I'm traveling and use the SP6 as a backup for my photos while traveling, I'd like to have as much space as possible (and buying a 1TB SP6/SP7 isn't an option because it would cost too much).

I.. dont think 1tb micro sd cards exist.
512gb cards do, but why not just use an external ssd..?

I would but this tablet plugs into another USB device via the only USB port on it, so any additional storage needs to be in the form of a micro SD card.

You could use a dongle, or a usb hub.
