Surge Protector can affect my power supply?

I'm about to build my first pc and I'm kinda new on this topics. I usually use a surge protector to protect my devices. But I´m wondering if this surge protector can affect the performance of the power supply of my pc.

No it can't. Nothing to worry about on that score, in fact I'd be more worried if I wasn't using a surge protector.
