surprisingly low performance in Crysis 3

I just started playing, and i have been tweaking my settings a lot, but i can't even get a satisfying performance on medium with no AA.
In comparison, i just finished playing Far Cry 3 with everything maxed and only experienced transient fps drop in big scenery.

I'm playing at 1680x1050, and i may be overestimating my computer, but I just feel like I should be getting better performance

Listetyven can you post you computer specs so that we have a better idea of what your PC is capable of?

Processor, amount of RAM/memory, and graphics card model will help us a lot.
