Surround sound with pc? Wont work..(

i have three jacks in the back of my computer and only one is giving out sound

Just because you have 3 jacks does not mean they are surround sound. 3 jacks Line In, Line Out, Microphone In. Read the specs/manual on your computer and see what type of audio features it has.

no i'm sorry it has 6 total three that are supposed to give sound one says center/bass other say's rear, and the other say's side i think

Go the right drivers for the sound card, and did you go through the configuration to enable all of them? What type of speakers are hooked up to it? Check the wiring to make sure it's plugged into the right things?

You may want to list what your system is and what speakers you are using, will help with trouble-shooting.
