Suspend my account for a few months?

Hi,

At the moment I dont have the time to devote to DOAC so I'd like to
suspend my account until I can. Is this possible?

I imagine so - over here in Europe, if you don't renew your membership, your
characters and all their posessions remain... I took six months off, and
all was as I had left it when I came back.

it is possible...

i took 8 or 9 months off, and when i came back, i still had
everything when i came back except my plat that i had and
it was gone.

Hi,

As my English friend wrote, your account goes into suspension. Mythic has
stated they never have thrown away any account, and I believe them. I
have bought accounts that were suspended, and all I had to do was supply
billing info to reactivate.

Just make sure before you suspend that you have all the right info
(including verified SW, if you have one). Also, make sure you aren't on
automatic billing.

Well I was on auto billing. But I just went and cancelled it. Guess
I'll find out when I get back if the account is still there. How
exactly do I access it again? Username and password?

Suspending accounts is no problem afaik. If you have a dwelling in the
housing zone you will lose that I think, if you fail to pay the rent.
One way to prevent this is to get some other player you trust pay it for
you, or make sure there's enough money on your Consignment Merchant (if you
have one) to cover the rent.
For instance, you could put a couple of full skill respec stone on your CM,
and set the price on each at 3 plat. If you have e.g. a house, that should
cover your rent for 30 weeks. 34 weeks if your lock-box has 800 gold in it,
which is all it can hold at once.

Eh, forgot to add: "Assuming the full skill respec stones get sold... Which
they probably will. Just don't set too high a price on them. Check on a
Market Explorer to see what they usually go for, then maybe set your price a
little lower."
