Hi,
So recently I installed a software which I uninstalled as it did not run, but my system became a bit slow. The thing I now find in my TaskManager is that the process are now running with " *32 " at the end(not all of them ) . Thats fine I know that 64 - bit machines can run 32 bit apps or so but the thing I find strange is that earlier they were not with *32.
Also I ran malwarebytes but the problem is still there.
some programs might be 32 bit ones (under program files (x86)) but i find it strange that the ones installed under /program files (which are 64 bit i suppose) are also running with *32.
I am currently running avast scan right now, which for instance is installed under /program files but is running with *32.
the welcome screen also takes longer to load.
if anyone has any idea about this and way to remove it would be really helpful.
i am running - Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) [SP1], 2 gb ram, intel core2duo e6750.

Solution
Run your full virus scan in safe mode with networking

After doing so, open msconfig

Click on the startup tab, disable the suspicious programs

Go back to msconfig, click on the services tab
Click the checkbox "Hide microsoft services"
Disable the services you believe are also suspicious
Apply settings and reboot

If that doesn't work, do a system restore and choose a restore point to the time before you installed that software

Hope this helps.
