I get the following error at shutdown:
___________________________________________________________
Svchost.exe - Application error

The instruction at 0x00000019 referenced memory at 0x00000019.
The memory could not be "read".

Click OK to terminate the program
Click CANCEL to debug the program

My computer is running Windows XP Home Edition. Yesterday I removed
Microsoft Office 2000 and Microsoft Works 2001 and then reinstalled Office
2000 to fix an installation error while updating MS Office 2000 to SP3. After
installation and update were successful I restarted my computer and started
receiving the svchost error. Computer continues to shutdown so I can't even
get to a debug window. I know just enogh about Windows XP to be dangerous.
Please, help me.

You probably have some background online update using svchost to download some files for office or XP.
